Terms of Service

These terms cover the MC Lab main website and enquiries for our human-reviewed Product Candidate-Set Diagnostic. The automated Self-Check is a separate product with separate Terms of Service.

Website information

The website explains MC Lab's current service, research and captured cases. We aim to keep it accurate, but AI systems, search results, source pages, service details and availability can change. Website content is general information, not legal, financial or professional advice for your business.

Human-reviewed engagements

A service engagement begins only after MC Lab confirms fit, scope, price, timing and payment instructions with you in writing. The public offer describes the standard scope; any engagement-specific written agreement or invoice controls if it differs.

You must be authorized to provide any product information or other material you ask us to use. You retain your rights in supplied material and give MC Lab the limited permission necessary to evaluate the enquiry and perform the agreed work.

Recorded observations, not guarantees

AI shopping systems, search indexes and public sources change over time. MC Lab provides captured evidence, a diagnosis under stated conditions and, where included, a controlled retest. We do not guarantee retrieval, candidate-set inclusion, recommendation, ranking, citation, traffic, sales or revenue.

You remain responsible for deciding whether and how to implement recommendations and for reviewing product claims, regulatory requirements and changes to your storefront.

Payment and ownership

The human-reviewed service normally uses PayPal Business Invoice; US clients may choose Zelle, which has no purchase protection. Payment instructions are sent only from hello@mclab.party. The automated Self-Check uses Paddle and is governed by its own checkout terms and policies.

After the relevant human-service stage is paid, you may use and adapt its delivered diagnostic or source-ready brief for your own store. MC Lab retains its pre-existing intellectual property, methods and reusable know-how. Public cases or disclosure of private client material require separate permission.

Acceptable use and contact

Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation or infringe the rights of others. Third-party links are provided for context; their services and content remain under their own control and terms.

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@mclab.party.
